The proposed FY24 operating budget aims to balance the decrease in federal, state, & local funding, the reinstatement of fares, and the increase in operating expenses while providing efficient, accessible service throughout central and northwest Vermont. A portion of this budget for the urban system is dependent upon making the remaining COVID-19 service suspensions permanent reductions. This includes the following:
- Keeping the Rt. 4 Essex Center & Rt. 10 Williston|Essex Combined
- Reduced service after 7 PM on Rt. 1 Williston, Rt 2. Essex Junction, Rt. 6 Shelburne Rd, & Rt. 7 North Ave
- Reduction of two evening trips on the Rt 9 Winooski
- Reduction in frequency on the Rt. 11 Airport
- Elimination of the Barre LINK Express
