About the Capital District.
GMT offers rural public transportation for Washington and Lamoille counties as well as the towns of Williamstown, Washington and Orange, with connecting services to Chittenden and Caledonia counties. GMT Capital offers an array of public transportation services including fixed route, deviated fixed route, demand response, commuter, health care and shopping shuttles, community shuttles, winter seasonal service and special individual service for those who qualify. All services are available to the general public and are ADA accessible.

Travels each Tuesday via North Main Street Barre City through South Main Street to Barre Town to Route 14 Williamstown and Hannaford Supermarket. Service includes North Barre Manor, Washington Apartments, Tilden House and Jefferson Apartments in Barre City; Williamstown Square and Garden Apartments in Williamstown, each with service to Hannaford Supermarket in Barre Town.
#87 Northfield Community Shuttle: Travels via Route 12 Montpelier and Northfield. Service areas include Downtown Northfield, Northfield Senior Center, Green Mountain Apartments, Dogwood Glen, CERV, Topps Market, Norwich University and surrounding neighborhoods in Northfield. Deviated service is available to individual homes, area businesses and other locations within the Northfield area through on-board request or by calling 802-223-7287.
#90 Health Center Community Shuttle : Service to/from The Health Center in Plainfield from any accessible location within Barre City each Tuesday and any accessible area within Washington County Wednesday and Thursday. Service is scheduled by appointment at least 24 hours in advance by calling 802-223-7287.

#91 Hospital Hill Demand Response: Travels Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday via Route 62 between Barre City and Berlin within the allowed ¾ deviation area of the Barre Hospital Hill route. Service includes Woodridge Nursing Home, Central Vermont Medical Center, Hilltop Inn, First in Fitness, Berlin Health and Rehabilitation, CV Substance Abuse, CV Home Health and Hospice, BAART, Associates in Pediatrics and Primary Care, CVMC Aquatic Wellness Center, East View Medical Lane and other area practices. #92 Montpelier Circulator: Travels within the downtown and residential Montpelier area with service to Shaw’s, Elm and Spring Street, Montpelier Recreation Field and Pool, CCV, Summer and Winter Street, Washington County Mental Health, Heaton Woods, College Green, NECI, Vermont College of Fine Art, Hunger Mountain Coop, National Life, Montpelier High School, Vermont State House, Prospect, Main and State Street. #89 City Commuter: Travels via River and Berlin Street and Route 302 to Montpelier, Berlin and Barre City. Service to City Place, Rite Aid, Aldrich Library, Agency of Human Services, Barre Opera House and VT History Center in Barre City; Price Chopper, Big Lots and Twin City Plaza in Berlin; Shaw’s, Main and State Street in Montpelier. #80 City Route Mid Day: Travels the same route as #89 City Commuter during off-peak commute hours via River, Berlin Street and Route 302 to Montpelier, Berlin and Barre City.
