Ride Together Services
Ride Together by GMT offers a two-part curriculum led by volunteer Travel Advisors, available for both groups and individuals:
- Classroom instruction, where a Travel Advisor will provide a comprehensive overview of navigating GMT fixed route transportation, including topics such as reading bus schedules, planning and making a bus trip, utilizing the Transit app, maneuvering mobility devices, paying the fare, using bike racks, and practicing bus etiquette and safety.
- Field instruction, where classroom knowledge is put into practice on a real GMT bus, accompanied by an experienced Travel Advisor.
Ride Together is customizable to meet the needs of each passenger, so trainees are encouraged to pursue their own learning paths. Those who complete the Ride Together curriculum will earn a free bus pass to encourage the use and practice of new transit knowledge, usable on any GMT bus when fares resume on May 20, 2024.
