Green Mountain Transit bus operators do it all– conduct pre-trip inspections, pick up riders, and answer trip planning questions– all while operating oversized heavy-duty vehicles down narrow city streets, tight corners, construction projects, and all the crazy weather Vermont has to offer. These last few years haven’t been easy and we want to thank them for all they do. Please join us in celebrating our hardworking, dedicated team of drivers on March 18–Transit Operator Appreciation Day.
Transit Operator Appreciation Day is a yearly event celebrated around the world to recognize the contributions bus operators make in their communities. Some ways you can help us celebrate are:
- Sharing your appreciation on social media using #LoveRideGMT and tagging us
- Submitting kind wishes via info@ridegmt.com
- Personalizing a thank you card available at our transit centers and onboard Franklin and Grand Isle County buses
- Delivering your heartfelt thanks in person as you board or exit the bus
Please thank your bus operator on March 18th and every time you ride!
