Chittenden & Washington Counties
The March 2026 Bus Map & Guide takes effect on Monday, March 9. Printed copies of the new guide will be available on board buses beginning in early March.
This update includes schedule adjustments, expanded service to key destinations, and improvements designed to make trips more reliable and convenient for riders.

Faster, Simpler Trips
Updates to the #2 Essex Junction create the opportunity for one-seat rides between the #4 Essex Center and Burlington, making trips more direct and convenient.
Improved On Time Performance
Timepoint adjustments on the #1 Williston and #11 City Connector create consistent 15-minute service along Main Street in Burlington — reducing wait times and improving schedule reliability.
Additionally, schedules on the following routes have been adjusted to better reflect real-world travel times:
- #9 Winooski
- #4 Essex Center
- #5 Pine Street
- #6 Shelburne Road
- #7 North Avenue
Departure times and subsequent timepoints have also been updated on the #86 Montpelier LINK Express and #96 Franklin County Commuter to improve reliability.
Added Shopping Service
A new stop at Allard Square, a senior living community on Market Street in South Burlington, has been added to the Tuesday Hannaford Shopping Special to improve grocery access for residents.
Washington County

Service updates focus on improving access to healthcare and key destinations:
- #84 US 2 Commuter now serves Goddard College as a timepoint stop.
- #81 Barre Hospital Hill adds a timepoint at Medical Suites on East View Lane.
- #82 Montpelier Hospital Hill has been rerouted to directly serve Medical Suites on East View Lane.
Additionally, departure times have also been updated on the #86 Montpelier LINK Express to improve reliability.
These updates are designed to improve on-time performance, expand access in key areas, and create faster, more convenient rides across both counties.
