Beginning Monday, August 24, the #9 Winooski will follow new routing to serve Shaw’s on Mountain View Drive in Colchester.
This change will improve access to groceries for riders in Winooski while also bringing more frequent service to the Water Tower Hill area.
Changes for Trips Toward Burlington
On trips toward Burlington, the #9 will no longer serve stops on:
- Weaver Street
- Malletts Bay Avenue
- Pine Street
- Hickok Street
- West Lane
Riders who currently board in this area can use one of the following nearby stops:
- Main Street opposite Normand Street: About a three-minute walk from Weaver Street at Tigan Street.
- 220 Main Street: About a six-minute walk from Weaver Street at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
- West Spring Street at Our Lady of Providence: About a three-minute walk from Weaver Street at St. Peter Street.
- West Spring Street at Malletts Bay Avenue: About a two-minute walk from Malletts Bay Avenue at St. Peter Street and about a five-minute walk from Pine Street at Hickok Street or Hickok Street at Elm Street.
- Malletts Bay Avenue at the O’Brien Center: About a four-minute walk from Hickok Street at River Street and about a three-minute walk from Malletts Bay Avenue at West Lane.
