Medicaid Program Change

Effective July 1st, Tri-Valley Transit (TVT), a trusted and experienced transportation service
provider, will take over Medicaid Transportation for Washington and parts of Orange County
where Green Mountain Transit (GMT) was the service provider.

Rest assured, your Medicaid transportation services will continue without any interruption. The
drivers and vehicles you are familiar with will remain the same. TVT will uphold all Medicaid
performance standards, ensuring high-quality customer service, safety, and timeliness. Any
current exceptions on file will be transferred to TVT. You can begin scheduling your rides with
TVT from July 1st, Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM, at (802)223-7287. Until June
30th, please continue to book your rides through Green Mountain Transit (GMT). Any ride
requests after June 30th will be directed to TVT.

This transition to TVT brings added benefits for you, our Medicaid members, and the broader
community. By merging your area’s transportation services under TVT, we can offer more
streamlined services, enhance coordination with other programs, and achieve greater cost
efficiency. This change is designed to improve your experience and the overall quality of our
services.

We understand that changes can be challenging, and your service delivery mode may change as
well. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make this transition. Our goal is to
create more options for Washington County residents by using TVT as their transportation
