
Summer is almost here, and Green Mountain Transit is helping youth riders get where they need to go with the return of Summer of Fun Youth Wristbands.
The Summer of Fun Youth Wristband gives riders ages 6–17 unlimited rides across the entire GMT system from June 15th through August 26th for just $50. Whether youth riders are heading to camp, summer jobs, parks, activities, appointments, or spending time with friends, the wristband is a simple and affordable way to travel throughout the summer.
Wristbands will be available at the Downtown Transit Center and the GMT Main Office.

With a Summer of Fun Youth Wristband, riders can enjoy:
- Unlimited rides across the GMT system
- Easy summer transportation for camps, jobs, activities, and everyday trips
- No additional proof of age required once the wristband has been purchased
The wristband is designed to make transportation easier for families while giving youth riders more independence throughout the summer.
Students Who Ride Free During the School Year
Students in the South Burlington School District and Essex Westford School District can continue to ride GMT for free during the summer, just as they do throughout the school year.
These students do not need to purchase a Summer of Fun Wristband to ride fare-free on GMT buses.
